9-36month olds
Currently, eligible 9-36month old children of working parents can claim up to 570 hours (15hrs X 38 weeks) funding per year. From September 2025 eligible parents will be entitled to claim 1140 (30hrs x 38). Eligibility can be checked at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk . You will need to supply us with an eligibility code, your national insurance number and the child’s name and date of birth. In order to claim the funding, we need this information before the start of each funding period, late claims cannot be made. This funding will only be offered as a stretched offer over 51 weeks per year. Therefore, the maximum funding that can be received each week is 11.25 hours. Funded hours can be claimed between 9am – 12pm, 1.30pm – 4.30pm or 10am-4pm or as an integrated package off any of the sessions we offer, up to a maximum of 3hrs per morning or afternoon or 6hrs per day.
Should you wish to access only free hours, a packed lunch in line with our policy, will need to be provided or you can choose to purchase our 2-course hot meal for the whole funding period. We will provide snacks. You will also need to provide nappies, wipes and any other consumables for your child. No additional hours/services need to be taken to access the offer.

Some 2yr old children of families in receipt of certain benefits may also qualify for 570 hours (15hrs X 38 weeks) free per year. This can be taken as 5 x 3hr sessions throughout week, 9am-12pm or 1.30pm-4.30pm These sessions run for 38 weeks/year following the school term times.
Alternatively, we can stretch the offer to 4 x 2.75hrs/week for 51 weeks of the year. These sessions run from 9.15am–12pm or 1.45pm – 4.30pm.
We are able to offer 6 hours free per day, up to the maximum, from 10am-4pm.
To support children most effectively we recommend that children attend the nursery for a minimum of 2 sessions or one full day per week.
3 and 4yr olds
All 3 and 4yr olds can claim up to 570 hours per year. This can be taken as 5 x 3hr sessions throughout week, 9am-12pm or 1.30pm-4.30pm.
